I’ve seen a lot of movies and binged a lot of shows, but I’ve never watched anything twice. Not that I wouldn’t want to, or that I’m some elitist that looks down on someone who can recite every line from Napoleon Dynamite. I follow the minimalist principle, “once is enough.”
If there was one movie I should watch a second time, it’s The Passion. But again, I can’t. It was so moving, and so graphic that I just can’t. I know many Christians that make it an annual event, usually on Good Friday. I guess I’m consistent, and will stick to my minimalist principle, “once is enough.” In this case it’s even more apparent. The death of Jesus Christ is once and is enough. It’s sufficient to save and it’s secure in conquering sin. Thank you Jesus!
