The endless desire for self improvement and personal achievement will mean very little when I’m old. The body, mind and people I’ve met will be a fading memory. Instead, I want to be a person who makes the people around me better. Better at life, love, and especially better at knowing and following Jesus. So, this starts with serving my wife. It continues through the way I love and listen to my kids. Finally, I want to impact my friends and the church of saints I’ve poured into. That would make for an incredibly fulfilling life and the hope of hearing words that affirm God’s pleasure with how I lived.
